Hi! I’m Sarayu Gangavelli, and I am excited to be serving as your President! I am entering my senior year and my fourth year in FBLA. I joined as a freshman and fell in love with this organization. Through my journey in FBLA, I have competed in Hospitality Management, Introduction to Public Speaking, Introduction to Business Procedures, Healthcare Administration, Advertising, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to have placed 1st in the nation in Entrepreneurship with my two partners, Will Harmon and Jacob Shulman. I also had the amazing opportunity to serve as the Colorado FBLA State Vice President representing District 5 during my junior year, and I am now serving as the Colorado FBLA State President! At Cherokee Trail High School, I am involved in the IB program, Student Leadership, and DECA. Outside of CT, I love to dance, bake, and adventure outdoors with my friends and family. I can’t wait to work with all of you and see what this year brings!
Hi! I’m Ava Trahan, and I’m incredibly excited to be one of your vice presidents this year. I joined FBLA two years ago as a freshman, and since then I have placed 10th at State in Introduction to Financial Math and placed 6th at Nationals in Organizational Leadership. This year I’ll be a junior in the IB program, and outside of FBLA, I’m passionate about tennis, the Chinese-adoptee community, my family, and friends. In my free time, I also enjoy hiking, listening to music, and watching Netflix.
Hi! My name is Will Harmon and I’m proud to be serving as one of one of your vice-presidents! This will be my second in FBLA. My favorite, and only, event that I have competed in is entrepreneurship, in which I was lucky enough to win first at nationals in San Antonio this summer with my two amazing teammates. Here at CT I am also a member of the IB program, president of National Honor Society and Cornhole Club, and love competing in DECA as well. Outside of school you can usually find me at the gym, eating, or spending time with my friends. I’m so excited to work with each and every one of you, and am looking forward to a great year!

Hi! I'm Landon Ungerman and I'm your membership officer. This is my second year in FBLA and I couldn’t be more excited to be a leader of the program this year. I competed at last years district and state conference in public speaking. At the district level I received 1st for my presentation therefore qualifying for state at the Gaylord Hotel, which turned out to be my favorite part of my freshman year. This year I’m a sophomore and I’m already waiting for competition season to come. When I’m away from school, I’m usually playing basketball, listening to Chance the Rapper, or adding to my shoe collection.

Craft Fair Coordinator
Hello!! My name is Wyatt Herren and I am proud to say I’m one of the Craft Fair Coordinators. This will be my first year as an FBLA officer, but overall this will be my second year in FBLA. I have competed at districts, but I unfortunately did not proceed to state. I think districts was my favorite event because I got the experience as an FBLA member what competition looks like, and what FBLA supports in the great state of Colorado. It was very fun, I loved the events and not mention I was apart of the team who won Clue Room!! I am a Sophomore in Cherokee Trail High School. Even though FBLA takes a lot of my time I still am able to enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and traveling . I am apart of Outdoors club and that allows me to enjoy the outdoors in all kinds of ways!!
Hey there! My name is Tanya Tyagi and I am a competition officer for CT FBLA. I am currently a junior and my first year as an officer, however, it is my 3rd year in FBLA. I always have a great time competing at districts and state and I cant wait for the many experiences that I have yet to come! In my free time I like to play tennis, watch Netflix and walk my dog.

Hi! My name is Megan and I am so excited to be your 2019-2020 technology officer. I can't wait to help all members new or returning get even more involved with our wonderful chapter. Last year I had the opportunity to travel to The Gaylord of the Rockies for our FBLA State competition. I got to see what it was really like to be in a professional environment. Other than FBLA I am also part of the CT softball and basketball team. I love everything FBLA has to offer from the leadership conferences to the Trick or Treat Trail, and I can't wait to make this year even better
